Angel wrote in September 2009: Visited in August 2009. Great food and beautiful boys. A very nice little and cosy bistro in the center.
- Nick wrote in January 2010: Visited July 2009. Nice food, great staff and value for money. The waiter loves Madonna but that just adds to the atmosphere.
- David wrote in June 2010: I dropped by there once during lunch hour in early June 2010. It did not have a gay cliental. Alex Bistro lacked an English menu, and I cannot read Czech. I would avoid this place.
- Andy wrote in September 2010: Alex Bistro is very gay friendly, but at lunch time does attract the local office workers, and the menu is printed in both English and czech, along with clour photos of each dish (on the same menu).
- Kevin visited in May 2011: Wonderful cafe; great inexpensive food and very gay friendly. The waiter even recommended some clubs and bars to visit. Mixed clientele, but predominately gay.
- Michael visited in May 2011: Checked out Alex Bistro today on a Tuesday afternoon after the lunch period, maybe 2pm. The average age of the patrons on the patio was under twenty! Inside it was over fifty. No real middle crowd. And it seemed rather hetero to me. I think I'll give it another chance, though, and go when the locals aren't working! The beer was fantastic and only 30 CZK for 0,5L vs 35 CZK for 0,5L of cola. Crazy!
- John visited in August 2011: Lovely, convivial atmosphere. Some stunning boys here! Don't get too excited about the food - it's not especially good. The french Onion soup was extraordinarily bad!

Gerome wrote in March 2010: Visited Sunday 28th of March 2010. Perhaps straight friendly but absolutely not gay friendly. Clicky maybe, or closeted, even homophobic, at best trying hard. And you can't possibly play a 20 min extended version of mmm love generation (?). Otherwise as a cafe it's pretty good.

Ross wrote in July 2010: Visited July 2010. If you are vegetarian, like me, then I totally recommend this place. Not all the food is veggie, but what they do have is very good. Otherwise, go to Radost FX. Erra is cosy and friendly and unlike a lot of Czech places where the staff are a pretentious and think that talking to customers is beneath them.

Comment by Paul, who visited in July 2005: Ultra un-American bar on a weird little sidestreet close to a very touristy area. Easy to miss. A mostly older crowd. They seem friendly enough but you won't find much English spoken here. Lots of people walk in with their dogs. It's probably been 40 years (or more) since the decor was changed. The bathroom's a tad scary by western standards.
- Em wrote in October 2007: Nice personell, but I found it mainly empty.
- Ricky wrote in April 2008: April 2008 Nice afternoon for a drink. Barman spoke English very friendly. The toilets are now very good and clean, they even have disposable toilet seat covers. Spent a pleasent couple of early evening hours there.
- Patrick wrote in October 2008: Very friendly bar. Speaking English and French. Every Tuesday big chocolate party. I recommend this event. I recommend it.

Marco wrote in January 2009: I've been there on January 2nd 2009. High level restaurant with fine interiors, and ethnic-chic decorations. A little pricy, but service and food are really ok.
- Frycek wrote in November 2010: On a Friday evening my partner and I decided to walk to Namesti Miru and check out the place. However, as it was completely empty, we took it as a bad sign and decided against staying there. We could see, though, that the waiters and the bartenders were very handsome:). Instead, we visited the place right next to it - Concordia Pizzeria - which was virtually full, not only with gay people, where we had a scrumptious meal and were positively surprised when the check came.

- Andy wrote in October 2010: 'I went there yesterday afternoon. Twin is a run of the mill shopping mall coffee house with attached kitchen ware store. Typical coffee shop fayre of coffees, sandwiches and cakes, nothing on the menu really stood out. Coffee was fine, cake a little on the dry side. Nothing really gay about this venue. Waitress didn't really understand basic english, even when only ordering coffee and pointing at the cake i wanted. Would have thought 'capuccino' would have been universally understood :(. Plenty of other good coffee shops in this centre. 'Coffee heaven' is surely one of the better ones, and with cute gay Barrista also!'

Cafe Louvre is listed in one (or more?) publication as a gay friendly cafe (Narodni 22, Prague 1). Andy wrote in October 2010: 'Cafe Louvre has been in Prague for over a 100 years. It was the favourite hang out of Albert Einstein and Franz Kafka. There is however absolutely nothing gay about it.'
