  • David wrote in June 2010: I visited this new venue a few times in early-mid June 2010. Most of the cliental were young Czech guys who knew each other - no cruising. It is a nice multiple-room venue with a rear open patio. While they serve food, they only have a Czech menu - no English. So forget it if you cannot read Czech. Most Prague restaurants have an English menu. The bartender is not friendly unless you speak Czech. One huge problem: to enter or depart, you have to ask the bartender (50 feet away) to unlock the massive iron front door. In case of a fire or emerency, this could be a huge liability and problem. Consequently I would avoid this place like the plague.
  • Andy wrote in September 2010: Fenoman club is one of the most friendly bars in Prague, with the owner, who works behind the bar speaking fluent english. As for the menu not being in english, so what. Its not, nor does it market itself as a tourist bar, but tourists are always welcome and if asked to translate the menu, the barmen will, no problems. Also its hardly a bother to ring the door bell to get in, or tell the barman your leaving, its the smae system that worked in the old Stella Club for more than 10 years.
  • Max wrote in March 2011: My boyfriend and I visited Feno Man on March 2011. It was at 4 am, so we were the only customers, 2 guys. Bartenders spoke a little english, but were really friendly.

  • Peter wrote in July 2008: Visited in February 2004. Great place! Friendly staff, and hot men. Also had a bit of a local feel. Nice vegetarian food in the restaurant, and a good place to find a chess game or just cruise.
  • Karl wrote in December 2008: We visited in November 2008. We didn't attend the club night but the bar itself is fantastic! Food is superb here and if your looking for a cocktail look no further! It is a very nice place to visit, popular with the locals and very friendly. You certainly won't be disappointed. From the outside it looks a little strange, a bit like the front of a shop but don't be put off, walk in you're in for a very pleasant surprise!

  • Ross visited August 2011: I took a French friend to visit Termix, he had never been before. The places was typically overcrowded so it is impossible to move let alone dance. While on the dancefloor we were pushed over by stupid straight girl who decided she should have more space than anyone else. Then we were pushed again by some drugged up guy who then wanted to start a fight with us, he broke my glass while I was drinking from it. We left after anothr 20 minutes and when we got outside I noticed a few gay boys hanging aroud, one peeing up against a tree. Suddenly some homophobic idiot kicked the lad violently sending him crashing through some bins and landing on his face on a car bonnet! His friends tried to protect him only to be attacked by another homophobe who was standing nearby. I told the doorman to call the Police, he told me that I had to call 158 and speak to the police. I told him that he is Czech so he speaks the language, its his club, his customers so he should call the police... My last 4 experiences with Termix have involved a stupid boy telling me I am too old for Termix (I am in my 30s) numerous aggressive gay idiots (possibly on drugs) wanting to start fights inside the club. It is too crowded, the music is always the same, drinking any mixers (coke, tonic) always makes me sick. I will not be going to Termix again for a long time.

Other Places
  • Roxy is listed in several publications as a gay club (Dlouha 33, Prague 1). Andy wrote in April 2010: 'Roxy Club is more metro sexual. It attracts a crowd of 20- 35 year olds. I have been there a few times. It is obvious there is a small contingent gay clientelle there, but you couldn't really class the establishment as gay, they accept gays, but dont promote it.'
  • Vertigo is listed in one (or more?) publications as a gay friendly club (Havelska 4, Prague 1). Andy wrote in October 2010: 'It's just a club in the centre. Most clubs will call themselves gay friendly, doesn't have any real sort of gay following.'
