  • Melvyn wrote in February 2007: Visited in February 2007, or tried to. Got fed up with ringing the bell to be let in so went to sauna Babylonia. And was pleased I did.
  • David wrote in November 2007: Sauna Marco is very, very small and really needs a complete revamp. There's hardly anyone there and the whole place looks and feels run down. Not a good place. Whoever recommends this sauna hasn't been to a good one lately. And admission at 40 CZK less than the other two in Prague is so not worth it.
  • David wrote in January 2008: This sauna is worn out and deserted. Not worth visiting at all.
  • Jacques wrote in January 2008: Not funny, not friendly. Foreigners maybe are not welcome?
  • Tim wrote in March 2008: Visited February 2008. Unfortunately the bar was where the interesting videos were being shown, but people deliberately stood in the way and got quite annoyed when I asked to be allowed to see the video. Really unpleasant, as everyone was smoking like chimneys. There was no water fountain, and no condoms, which is irresponsible. The showers were ice-cold, but after a few minutes became nearly warm for a few seconds, then switched off. Mainly couples, not interested in being friendly or speaking English. The locker key had to be handed in to the staff, so one had to remember one's locker number. Very boring and very dark.
  • James wrote in May 2008: Visited May 2008. Nope, not very crowded. The most important thing to me in a Sauna though is cleanliness. This is not a clean place. The towels are gray and dingy. The whirlpool and other areas smelled. If you have a beer, the attendant keeps your key (presumably to keep me from running off without paying). I like to go into my locker for things though. Save your $'s and time, pass this one.
  • Reed wrote in October 2008: I had an awesome time Sauna Marco. Most guys only spoke Czech, but that didn't stop me from having a good time. And the bartender is adorable. Have been back three or four times just to see him again.
  • Fuse wrote in December 2008: It seems the price of this sauna is not longer 195 but 290.
  • Andreas wrote in March 2010: I visited on January 10th, 2010, at 5:30 pm. It was a Sunday, so I expected it to be really crowded. To my surprise, I was the only guy there! This had never happened to me, especially on a cold Sunday afternoon! Obviously they didn't tell me at the entrance that it was empty, which is unfair but understandable (someone has to be the first). They assured me people would start coming soon, so I waited 15 minutes but no on arrived. I didn't want to waist more time so at that point I left and went straight to Babylonia, where I had an amazing evening! Not only was Marco sauna empty, but it is also tiny, old and doesn't seem very clean (which I guess explains why it is empty). The guy at the bar was friendly, but that's not enough! Babylonia, on the other hand, was packed with nice guys and I loved it. I am sorry to say this, but Marco Sauna is really not up to date and cannot compete with new places like Babylonia or Labyrinth.
